LSFMD's job in turfs
The LSFMD's job in turfs is purely to save people. The LSFMD is expected to go onto the turf, move the patient away from the danger area and then load them into the ambulance. The LSFMD is not allowed to participate in turfs unless asked to by the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) or Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The LSFMD is not allowed to heal inside a turf (/heal) or discharge their firearms at anyone.

Rules

The LSFMD is not allowed to shoot or heal (/heal, /triage) players inside a turf. If they do these, they will be punished, and may not only be punished by the LSFMD they may also be punished by admins. If anyone is seen to be breaking either of these two simple rules, you will be issued two IA strikes each time. If you are caught doing it often, it will be report to the Admin team to be dealt with OOCly.

IV. Medical Information

Pain Medication
Upon arriving at the scene, you are required to check what state the patient is in. Talk with the patient and find out what happened. If the patient is in pain, you are required to treat the pain. You will also need to give them anesthetic if you are about to do anything that may cause pain to the patient. Both Morphine and Codeine are provided in the ALS and BLS kits for usage in these situations.

Common Injuries
San Andreas is a dangerous place to leave, and there are a few common causes of injury. The most common are broken bones, gunshot wounds, and burns.

Broken bones
Dealing with broken bones will be a common case in San Andreas. As LSFMD, you are required to make sure that the patient's broken bone is dealt with well. In most cases, giving the patient Morphine or Codeine is a good move to start with. If the patient has a broken leg or arm, you can use a splint to support the bone during transport to the hospital. In other cases, you may want to give the broken bone support and move them onto a stretcher for transportation.

Gunshot wounds
Gunshot wounds are a very common injury in San Andreas due to the common use of firearms. In the event that the patient has taken a gunshot wound, you will need to administer morphine to the patient and clean out the wound. Using Gauze Mats and Purified (medical) water, you will be able to disinfect the wound. It is advised that you do not try to pull the bullet out unless you know what you are doing. Make sure to bandage the wound and move the patient onto the stretcher for transportation to the hospital where the patient can get full and proper treatment.
